Ear to the Earth, Ltd., a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation, has created a website (hereafter referred to as 'the Site').
The purpose of the Site is: to report projects and activities including online reports dealing with activities relating to the environment; descriptions of events that we may produce from time to time in New York and other places; and other activities including publications that we may create, sometimes in partnership with other organizations or companies.
By using the Site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated in this user agreement. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions in this document, do not use the Site.
Responsible Use of the Site
Ear to the Earth does not always pre-screen or monitor all of the content that you may post or give us to post on the Site, including but not limited to blog posts, comments, articles, calendar listings, advertisements, or images. Ear to the Earth expects that everyone who uses the Site agrees to use the Site in a responsible manner.
You agree that any content you post or give us to post to the Site is, to the best of your knowledge and judgement, truthful, accurate, ethical, and inoffensive.
You agree that you will NOT post any content to the Site that is threatening, abusive, racist, fraudulent, or offensive.
If you are not in compliance with this agreement, Ear to the Earth may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Site, and, without prior notice, Ear to the Earth may remove any content from the Site that it finds false, offensive or otherwise in noncompliance with the terms of this user agreement.
You agree that Ear to the Earth may not be held legally responsible for any adverse consequences that occur due to the removal of content that NMW judges as threatening, abusive, racist, fraudulent, or offensive.
Further, Ear to the Earth may use software to detect unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or in any way to compromise or damage the Site or any information in the Site. In the case of any unauthorized attempts to change the Site or damage the Site, all relevant information regarding possible violation of law may be provided to law officials for prosecution.
Accuracy of the information on the Site
Ear to the Earth will do what it reasonably can do to be sure that the information on the Site is correct, truthful, free from errors, and useful. But we can not be responsible for the accuracy or usefulness of any information that it receives from another party, or that is placed in the Site by a user, or that is found in another website linked from the Site by a user. It is your responsibility as a user of the Site to evaluate the information that you acquire through the Site and to verify and judge the information as wisdom dictates.
Changes in this agreement
Ear to the Earth may periodically make changes in the Site and in the terms of this agreement. We recommend that you periodically check this agreement for updates. Your use of the Site after this user agreement has been changed will signify that you have agreed to any new terms and conditions for the use for the Site.
