Our projects and activities include online reports dealing with activities relating to the environment; descriptions of events that we may produce from time to time in New York and other places; and other activities including publications that we may create, sometimes in partnership with other organizations or companies.
What are the different lists maintained by Ear to the Earth?
Ear to the Earth broadcasts an occasional mass email describing events that take place throughout the world and other news that it believes will be of interest to its subscribers.
How do we collect and use information?
We collect information for our lists through registration forms on the Ear to the Earth website. We also add people to the lists following a verbal request or following other direct communications. You may unsubscribe from any list at any time by using the appropriate online form or by contacting us with your request.
Disclosure of your personal information
Ear to the Earth will not sell, trade, distribute, or otherwise make known, any of your contact information in our email lists without your consent. We maintain our lists in the utmost confidence to protect the privacy of subscribers to our lists.
Ear to the Earth may disclose your contact information, however, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Ear to the Earth; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Ear to the Earth and its products or services; or (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users, or the public at large, from any of the information we distribute.
Ear to the Earth collects information in different ways. Some parts of the Site are 'secure' with security measures in place to protect the information that is being communicated. Areas of the Site that are designed for general browsing are not secure and do not have any extraordinary security measures in place beyond the normal connections used to communicate electronic data.
